An employee discovered a black oil film on the surface of the non-swimmer pool on Monday afternoon (October 30th). The damage amounts to thousands of euros.

Unknown environmental offenders dump liters of used oil into the swimming pool in RLP
The contamination spread over several square meters and was caused by used mineral oil. According to initial findings from the Bad Kreuznach criminal police, the contamination was caused last weekend by dumping engine oil into the pool.
The police have already started investigations into improper handling of hazardous waste and damage to property. The damage caused is estimated at a high four-digit amount.
