AC Milan – PSG: few surprises to expect in Luis Enrique’s lineup

In the autumn cold and rain, PSG prepared this Sunday for their trip to Milan for the fourth day of the Champions League. After having carried out on Saturday a cleaning and treatment for the starters of the match against Montpellier (3-0) and a more in-depth session for the substitutes (or those who played little), the Parisians carried out a complete training this Sunday without Danilo Pereira (thigh) and Keylor Navas (back).

Marco Asensio, who returned to team training last Monday after a foot injury, was also present and played the entire session. Even if for a recovery his feelings have been very good throughout the week, the Spanish international should not be in the group which goes to Italy tomorrow morning shortly after 10:30 and which will arrive at lunchtime. His return seems planned for the trip to Reims on Saturday (5 p.m.).

Luis Enrique, who will speak with one of his players on Monday at a press conference at 5:15 p.m., should renew an eleven almost similar to that lined up during the first leg at the Parc des Princes (3-0, October 25). Two doubts still remain. On the left side, of the 4-2-4, the recent performances of Kang-in Lee seem to have strengthened the competition with Vitinha, starter in the first and third matches of the group.

The Korean, who was decisive in the last three meetings (two goals and an assist), received a lot of praise from the Spanish technician. The latter has still not made him start a C1 match this season and the confrontation against AC Milan could be an opportunity to build on his good momentum.

Before the same debate returns. Who is Randal Kolo Muani or Gonçalo Ramos? When they were not lined up together as was the case at Newcastle, the Parisian coach constantly preferred the Frenchman to the Portuguese. Can his choice change on Tuesday? Faced with Italians who could have phases of possession, the option leading to the former Nantes player, who will be suspended on Saturday and absent in Champagne, seems to bring more variety.

From Milan, the news is reassuring for Théo Hernandez. Hit in an ankle, the French international should hold his place on Tuesday evening at San Siro.

PSG’s likely composition: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos (cap), Skriniar, L. Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte – Dembele, Randal Kolomuani, Mbappe, Kang-in Lee.
