BERGAMBACHT – Last week, during the general membership meeting, BC Blue Sky from Bergambacht proudly appointed two honorary members. Ingrid van Zoest and Gert-Jan Seip have worked for the association for years and still do so.
Chairman Mirjam Verduijn praised the honorary members and thanked them for their unwavering commitment to the association. As a board member, as a competition leader, as an (auxiliary) trainer, as a tournament organizer, as a competition player, as a coach, both have meant a lot to Blue Sky. Partly thanks to their efforts, Blue Sky is a growing, vibrant and fun sporting badminton club. A suitable certificate was presented to them by the chairman amid loud applause from those present.
This evening we also said goodbye to board members Arie Looren, Freddy de Ridder and Marc Moolenaar. Blue Sky can look back on a nice and good general membership meeting.
