Danilo joins the PSG infirmary before the match against Montpellier

Versatile PSG defender Danilo Pereira will not be able to play the match against Montpellier on Friday for the 11th day of Ligue 1. The capital club has announced that the Portuguese will not return to the pitches of France or Europe “before the end of the international truce”. He suffered a right hamstring injury. This season, Danilo has started five times in the Championship, always as a central defender. He had played the entirety of the last two Parisian matches.

Three other players are still in the infirmary, again according to club communication. Never used this season, replacement goalkeeper Keylor Navas suffers from lower back pain. It should be available again next week. With long-term injuries, Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes continue to receive treatment. Suffering from a major injury to his right thigh, the Portuguese full-back is continuing his rehabilitation and is not expected before 2024. For his part, the French central defender is in the middle of his recovery protocol.
