Fabio Di Giannantonio become champion MotoGP Qatar 2023 beat Francesco Bagnaia at the Lusail Circuit, Monday (20/11) early morning.

Francesco Bagnaia started the race well and brought the Desmosedici GP 23 to first position, passing Luca Marini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez who occupied the first row at the start.

Meanwhile Jorge Martin slipped to eighth place due to an imperfect start. Martin could be seen having difficulty starting the race smoothly.

Bagnaia tried to get away from Marini’s pursuit. Meanwhile, Johann Zarco’s mistake made Martin move up to seventh position on the second lap.

Marini, Alex Marquez and Di Giannantonio also provide tough competition behind Bagnaia. Meanwhile Brad Binder lurks in fifth position.

Martin overtook Marc Marquez on the fourth lap and finished sixth. On the same lap Di Giannantonio passed Marini to take the runner up position.

Marini not only dropped to third place, but also slipped to fifth place. Binder then pushed to third position.

While Bagnaia still couldn’t get away from Di Giannantonio’s pursuit, Martin was also still having difficulty approaching the top five positions until seven laps had passed.

Martin instead faced a threat from Maverick Vinales, who had previously passed Marc Marquez. On the 10th lap Martin was overtaken by Vinales and Marquez.

The Prima Pramac Ducati racer was able to pass Marquez again on the 11th lap, but then Fabio Quartararo passed him. Martin is still in eighth position.

Martin was out of form and a mistake he made was exploited by Jack Miller to overtake the runner up in the standings.

Bagnaia and Di Giannantonio left the other racers behind by up to 2 seconds, while the gap between the two was only around 0.3 to 0.1 seconds.

The battle for third place between Binder, Alex Marquez, Marini and Vinales stole the attention. The four of them were quite close together.

With six laps remaining in the race, Bagnaia faced tough resistance from Di Giannantonio. At almost the same time, Enea Bastianini, who was Bagnaia’s teammate, passed Martin in the battle for ninth place.

On the 18th lap Di Giannantonio overtook Bagnaia. In an attempt to overtake Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia made a mistake which sent him wide of the track. Bagnaia was immediately 2.5 seconds away from Di Giannantonio.

Di Giannantonio became the 2023 Qatar MotoGP champion, followed by Bagnaia, and Marini was in third place.
