This Saturday, the third day of the National 3 championship was held. Dommartemont and Gondreville, in pool 3, achieved different results with a certain predominance of the first.
Indeed, Dommartemont tied with Etupes (4-4), notably thanks to good performances among the girls. Léa Gricourt won in three sets against Sandra Lauer (13-21, 21-19, 14-21). Maria Scarpellini managed to win in the mixed doubles alongside Tijl Dewit, who had won her singles match a little before against Yannick Durain (16-21, 21-23). The duo won against Inoki Theopilus and Guenaëlle Bergey (21-12, 18-21, 6-21).
On the other hand, a rather complicated day for Gondreville who lost heavily 8-0, never managing to make the difference in the day’s duels. Moreover, the Meurthe-et-Mosellans only won 2 sets out of 18: one in women’s doubles and one in mixed doubles.
Thus, at the end of this day, Dommartemont is 4th and Gondreville, last in 6th place. There are still two days left, the next one being November 25. Dommartemont and Gondreville will face Reims and ASLB Kembs respectively.
