Borussia Dortmund faced Newcastle United on the fourth matchday of Group F of the Champions League. Die Borussen won 2-0.

Newcastle’s second attempt came just before halftime. This time it was Joelinton’s header which Kobel was able to overcome. The score remained 1-0 in the first half for Dortmund’s advantage.
The second half was more interesting with both teams taking turns attacking each other. There were several opportunities that almost resulted in goals.
Dortmund managed to increase their lead to 2-0 in the 79th minute. Through a counter-attack, Julian Brandt tore Newcastle’s goal.
This score lasts until the match is finished. As a result, Dortmund temporarily leads Group F with seven points and Newcastle is in third place with four points.
