Santo Domingo. It was a big night for Emilio Bonifacio. The veteran player of the Tigres de Licey reached 400 lifetime hits this Saturday in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) with a hit through center field during the game against the Águilas Cibaeñas at the Quisqueya stadium.
The Tigers won the game 6-2 against the Eagles on a night in which Bonifacio went 3 for 4. Bonifacio is the 44th player to achieve the milestone and the eighth Tigers player on that club.

Bonifacio received a standing ovation from the fans at Quisqueya Park. The Tigers projected the feat on a giant screen with an image with the number 400 and a photo of Captain Blue.
