The rumors had been floating around for a few months now, and in the end the leaks ended up being right. If we like sports animes and romantic animes, we have to keep our eye on ‘Blue Box’because the manga Kouji Miura will have a series adaptation.
In love and sports everything is fair
‘Blue Box’ is published in Spain as ‘The blue box‘ and follows Taiki Inomata, a teenager who plays badminton for his high school team. He is in love with Chinatsu Kano, who plays on the basketball team, and when her parents leave the country temporarily Chinatsu moves in with Taiki’s family.
The series is developing the romance between the two protagonists as they both try to succeed in their respective sports, so it can be a good mix if we like both genres of anime. For now there are not too many details about the ‘Blue Box’ anime, but it is expected that more information will be given during the JUMP Party December, so maybe we’ll have a first trailer or a release window soon.
Miura’s original manga already consists of 12 compilation volumes and is still in publication, so it is possible that the anime will have around 12 episodes so as not to step on its heels too much with its first season.
While the anime of ‘Blue Box‘ and if what we want are very beautiful romances, the one we have just around the corner is ‘A Sign of Affection’. The series premieres in January 2024 and the first trailers promise that it is going to be beautiful, so we are starting the year well in the field of romantic animes.
