What exactly is it about?
The topic of the posting on X (formerly Twitter) is the “entrance situation” at Millerntor. The “Supporters Club” writes: “It is our men’s team’s first game at the Millerntor since October 2022. At that time, we published a statement after the game in which we criticized the admission situation and the structural conditions at the entrance to the guest block.”

To be more precise, the area at the entrance is too narrow, only a few meters wide – and that for thousands of fans.
It goes on to say: “In the tense situation of a derby, this is even more dangerous. Every year people are crammed together and packed close together. This is life-threatening.”
A stark warning to your own fans!

The “Supporters Club” is the official fan department of Hamburger SV.
The problem is “the entry concept” and the “structural conditions”. The request from HSV fans goes to their city rivals to change this area. After the last away game in October 2022, the Supporters Club had already pointed out the tightness in this area and also referred to stories from other clubs and fan scenes in their statement.

In addition to the request for changes, there is also a proposed solution: “For example, with more functioning ticket scanners and a stadium opening adapted to the number of away fans. In our case at least two hours before kick-off.”
Because: According to HSV fans, the ticket scans also didn’t work in some cases last year.
