Javier Milei won with more than 55% of the votes in the runoff and will be the new president of Argentina. El Burrito, champion with Vélez, expressed himself on his social networks in favor of the libertarian candidate. First, as soon as the results were known, he wrote: “Let’s go Argentina.” And a few minutes later, he continued: “Congratulations, Javier Milei.”

A few hours before, Martínez had doubted his candidate’s victory: “I have no doubt that Massa won.” He had also taken the time to respond to Máximo Kirchner, who had asked that society vote be accepted: “You already know that they won, they applied fraud as always.”

At 36 years old, Burrito is retired from professional activity, after a bad time in the Primera Nacional: neither in Almagro nor in Almirante Brown was he able to impose his hierarchy and finally ended up leaving football.
