Kristaps Porzingis’ participation in the game against the Raptors is questionable

The Boston Celtics will play an away match in Canada on Saturday night against the Toronto Raptors.

The start of the game in the “Scotiabank” arena will be at 2.30 Latvian time.

Celtic participation of the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis in the upcoming game is uncertain for the time being due to a knee injury. Liepājnieks missed the Celtics’ previous match against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In addition to Porzingis, the participation of Jaylen Brown, who is ill, is not clear for the Bostonians, but Al Horford, despite a sprained big toe, is likely to participate in the fight.

Shortages are also expected for the home team. A toe injury is likely to keep Ouji Anunoby out of the match, while Gary Trent and Christian Koloko, a centre-half who has yet to play this season, will miss out due to a foot injury and illness respectively.

The Celtics are the leader of the Eastern Conference with a record of 9-2, while the Raptors are ranked 11th in the same conference with five wins in 11 games.

The Boston team coached by Joe Mazulla has won the previous four games, while the Canadians have lost two of the previous three battles.

On the night of November 12, the teams met at Boston’s “TD Garden” arena. Back then celts won a convincing victory over Toronto 117-94.

Porzingis scored 21 points and seven rebounds in the victory.
