Laupheim Judoka Shine at the 28th Erbach Friendship Tournament

The Erbach Friendship Tournament, which is well-known and popular in the regional judo scene, took place in Erbach for the 28th time. In addition to TSV Laupheim, which was represented by 9 judoka, there were also participants from Biberach, Ehingen, Erbach, Ertingen, Illertissen, Münsingen, Oberkirchberg, Schelklingen and Ulm. However, the judoka from Erbach’s twin town Thorigny-sur-Marne, who came from France, had by far the longest journey.

Four Laupheim judoka had a particularly outstanding success, each winning first place. We were particularly in a hurry Emilia Juhas and Therese Pfeil, who were able to win all four fights early on. Also Toni Endler showed an impressive performance: Despite a lack of tournament experience, he was able to win all three matches and made it particularly exciting in the final match, which he won with a throw in the last second. There were also notable performances from the runners-up.
