Man City’s massive win even without Haaland’s goal

Even without a goal from striker Erling Haaland, Manchester City has underlined its exceptional position in the Premier League. Coach Josep Guardiola’s team managed a 6-1 win against Bournemouth on Saturday. Haaland had some top-class chances during his 45-minute appearance, but failed to score. Meanwhile, Jeremy Doku shone with a goal and four assists.

Doku gave ManCity the lead with his second goal of the season (30th). The Belgian perfectly prepared the 2-0 through Bernardo Silva three minutes later. The 21-year-old also played a major role in City’s third goal. Doku’s shot was deflected by Manuel Akanji to make it 3-0 (38′). Substitute Phil Foden increased the score to 4-0 (64′), Doku was again the passer. Bernardo Silva (83′) after a Doku cross and Nathan Ake (88′) made the final score 6-1 for City after the only Bournemouth goal by Luis Sinisterra (74′).

Last minute defeat for Kalajdzic with Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered a bitter defeat with Sasa Kalajdzic. The “Wolves”, where the ÖFB team player was on the pitch until the 61st minute, lost 2-1 at Sheffield United due to a penalty from Oliver Norwood in the 100th minute. It was the bottom team’s first win of the current season in the eleventh round.

Manchester United and the criticized coach Erik ten Hag can take a breather. Bruno Fernandes scored shortly before the end to make it 1-0 for the “Red Devils” against Fulham. With 18 points, United are still in the upper mid-table.
