Noa Lang switched from Club Brugge to PSV last summer. Now that he can compare both competitions a little better, he made a striking statement.
Whether you love him or hate him, he can play some football. Noa Lang was a guest in the PSV podcast ‘Spelerstribune’. He compared the Belgian competition with that of the Netherlands.
“I went to Belgium, where I scored and dribbled constantly,” the Dutchman begins. “And then they said: ‘The level is low, that’s why’. It’s always something. That’s the way this world works, it’s difficult to give something to someone else.”
He clearly finds the Belgian competition more difficult. “I have news for you: it is much more difficult to play football there than here. It is much more physical, there is much more defense. Here everyone just attacks a bit. I have done it there at a consistent level for three years, Now I’m here to show it too.”
