Paris Saint-Germain Secures Gonçalo Ramos for the Future After Squad Rebuild

Paris Saint-Germain has rebuilt the squad this summer. One building block was loan striker Gonçalo Ramos, who is now staying on.

Paris Saint-Germain continues to work on the squad of the future. The French top club has drawn the purchase option for the Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos. The club announced this.

According to the media, PSG has to transfer 65 million euros to Benfica Lisbon for the 22-year-old, who was previously on loan. The sum can rise to 80 million euros through bonus payments.

Ramos came from Lisbon in the summer. The striker has scored two goals in eleven league games and four Champions League games so far. Randal Kolo Muani, who came from Eintracht Frankfurt for 95 million euros, also has “only” two goals to his name. PSG hopes that both of them will score more often. The offensive is currently too dependent on Kylian Mbappé. The French superstar scored 13 of PSG’s 29 goals.
