Makassar – Ze Paulo is not PSM Makassar’s last purchase in the second round of League 1 transfer market this season. The Juku Eja team is still opening up opportunities to bring in new players.
PSM Makassar officially brought in 4 new players in the second round of Liga 1 this season. Apart from Ze Paulo, PSM previously recruited Joao Pedro, Ifan Nanda and Victor Mansaray.
Victor Mansaray has played two matches for PSM Makassar and scored two goals. Meanwhile, Ifan Nanda has also played 1 match, but as a substitute in injury time.
Meanwhile, Joao Pedro and Ze Paulo have not played at all. Even though both of them have been included in the PSM line-up list as reserve players.
Previously, Bosowa Group Founder Aksa Mahmud said he had recruited two good foreign players in the second round of Liga 1 this season. The two players in question are Ze Paulo and Victor Mansaray.
“In fact, we have two new players, namely strikers. They are Americans of African descent. So there are these two (new PSM players),” said Aksa Mahmud after being hosted by the Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Bahtiar Baharuddin at the Office of the Governor of South Sulawesi, Wednesday (1/11/ 2023) ago.
Aksa Mahmud even promised to add more new players. This is if the two foreign players brought in do not meet expectations.
“In fact, I want to see in Parepare how these two people are capable. If it’s still not enough, I’ll add more. If these two people can’t do it, we’ll add more,” he explained.
For your information, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the operator of Liga 1 is opening the second period of player registration on 1-28 November 2023. This means that PSM Makassar can still disassemble the squad according to the needs of coach Bernardo Tavares.
