The season started in full swing for the Ravenna Byzantine Archers who presented themselves with a team of 15 athletes at the “8th City of Riccione Indoor Trophy”.
Indoor debut for the youth sector present with 8 athletes from the very young to the junior class.
The young archers from Ravenna thus broke the ice and, through ups and downs, conquered their first podiums.

Diego’s change of category, normally in the very young ones, allows the three young archers to form the men’s OL boys team for the first time: Nicola, Felipe and Diego win the gold medal with a score of 991.
Podiums also come from the senior and master classes especially in the AN division. With an amazing second part of the match, where he scored 40 points more than the first, Michele Baroncini took third place for AN SM with a score of 502 (231 + 271). The AN masters are further behind and are unable to conquer the top of the rankings. Best placing for Massimo Venturi, 6th with 504, 7th Marcello Tozzola with 500 and 8th Simone Pizzi again with 500 but with several golds less. The girls from AN MF, Angela Padovani and Sabrina Bandini, also struggled and had to settle for 4th and 5th respectively with scores of 427 and 423.
However, Venturi, Tozzola and Pizzi went to the center as a team, where they won the silver medal with a score of 1504.
Tozzola makes up for it in the individual OL MM, where he wins the gold medal with a score of 559 (279+280). Simone Pizzi 13th at 517. The women’s OL is represented only by Concettina Palmiero who ranks 4th at 452 SF category.
