The “story of the country” belonging to badminton

Such a beautiful description of “the country is picturesque” not only appears in Su Shi’s words and sentences, but is also a true portrayal of the development of badminton in the country. As one of the important badminton production bases in the country, Jiangshan is known as the hometown of Chinese badminton. Its products not only sell well domestically, but are also exported overseas and are deeply loved by consumers in Southeast Asia and other places. With a mature industrial cluster and the fact that badminton is suitable for all ages, this sport has penetrated into thousands of local households. The Jiangshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have also contributed to the development of badminton, established a healthy life industry leadership group, built Hushan Sports Park, and held many national events. While setting off a wave of badminton fitness trends, they also contributed to the already hot badminton industry. Development adds new momentum.

After the opening ceremony that day, badminton world champion Wang Lin and young athletes from Jiangshan City waved their rackets to kick off the game, pushing the atmosphere to a climax. Wang Lin said, “The holding of private badminton events has enabled the population base of badminton to continue to expand. I am very happy to see the development of badminton sports and industries in the province and even across the country. I am also very grateful to Jiangshan for providing such a platform for everyone to come and participate. Competition, display.”

As the official competition began, cheers and cheers came one after another in the venue. Experts from all walks of life tried their best to win the competition. Zhang Caihua, an athlete who came from Anhui to compete, told me that he took the opportunity of the competition to get to know many golfers from all over the country. This is her first time coming to Jiangshan. The badminton atmosphere in Jiangshan is enviable, and she will “make good use of” this beautiful city to her golfers.

The “event effect” of Jiangshan Sports

Jiang Shan is a veteran at “small town hosting competitions”. It is reported that Jiangshan’s badminton companies have sponsored and hosted the 2006, 2008, and 2012 National Corporate Badminton Tournaments as well as the 2020 “Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Anhui” Four Provinces Marginal Badminton Invitational Tournament and other events, which has promoted the popularity of folk badminton.

In addition, Jiangshan Hushan Sports Park, where the event will be held, has hosted many large-scale events since it was put into use in August this year. Four days ago, the 2023 National Aerobics Championships just concluded at Hushan Sports Park. After the China Employees Badminton League Finals, the 2023 first “Li-Ning Cup” Badminton Club Challenge of Zhejiang, Fujian, Gansu and Hunan provinces, the National Jiu-Jitsu Competition, Li-Ning Order Fair and other large-scale events and activities will take turns. In this regard, the relevant person in charge of the Jiangshan Municipal Sports Bureau said that the successful hosting of the event will further establish the brand of “Sports Country, Sports Blessed Land”, accelerate the development of Jiangshan’s characteristic sports industry, and empower the city.
