UFC will return to Shanghai, Chinafor an event on December 9, the promoter announced Wednesday.
UFC has yet to announce the fighters who will headline the event, the first in China since August 2019 when local fighter Zhang Weili made history by dethroning Jessica Andrade to be the first Chinese-born person to win a UFC championship.
He first UFC event in Shanghai was November 2017with Michael Bisping losing to Kelvin Gastelum in what would be the last fight of his career.
