The Voyageurs de Jonquière already seem to be preparing for the next season and they are aiming high. In order to field the best team possible, the organization announced several changes to their baseball organizational chart.
First, Dany Coulombe, who held the position of general manager in recent years, will take on the role of governing the team. With the governors of the twelve other teams, their aim will be to direct the main directions of the league and to vote for the adoption of new regulations.
In order to replace Coulombe for the GM position, the team didn’t look far and named Michaël Bélanger, who had been the team’s coach for four years. Already involved as creator of the De Mortagne sports-studies program, he will bring his vision and culture of baseball, in addition to his expertise.
The organization will make further announcements in the coming days.
