Walmart and Sam’s Club Inaugurate New Supercenters in Paseo Juárez, Creating Over 360 Jobs

Being the first time in the country that they open in unison, Sam’s Club and Walmart Supercenter Paseo Juárez were inaugurated today, with a combined sales floor of more than 19,900 square meters.

The company pointed out that with these new units they will be able to be closer to families, giving them access to quality products and making all the technological tools available so that customers and partners can buy how, when and where they want.

In this regard, they incorporate self-collection boxes that help families save time, the Pickup service to collect purchases without leaving the car and the home delivery service for products purchased in the online store.

With the opening, more than 360 direct jobs were created, which are added to the more than 13,600 associates in Walmart stores and clubs in Mexico and Central America in Nuevo León.

Attending the event, on behalf of Walmart of Mexico and Central America, were Rodrigo Flores Amezcua, director of Institutional Relations; Alonso Sotomayor, vice president of Operations, and Maribel Andrade, deputy director of Operations, and of Sam’s Club, Ivonne Montiel, vice president; Rubén López Soriano, Director of Operations, and Gustavo Chaona, Deputy Director of Operations at Sam’s Club.
