They got scared, but didn’t break down. Sign of a strong mind. But they could have avoided this emotional roller coaster because everything started well. The defense allowed the BBD to clearly take control of the match. Rouen had only scored four points in the first seven minutes!
Boulazac validated this impervious defense with a loose attack. Warner under the basket, then three free throws from Hugo Robineau created the gap (2-7, 4th). In the process, Louis Cassier, recovered from his leg injury, entered the floor to make two shots then slam a dunk.

Adel responded to him in a breathtaking end to the match. Cassier took a key rebound (81-84, 43rd) before the BBD was pushed to 24 seconds. Williams, again, equalized behind the arc. Robineau took things in hand, Kayouloud did not miss his two throws (86-86).
Then he made a mistake, offering two shots to Robineau (86-88). Williams scored two more for a second overtime (88-88)… But no, Warner released a decisive three-point shot six tenths from the buzzer.
