3 Points Academy is the name of the new sports club Genil Bridge which, through Super Basket, has among its purposes to promote the practice of basketball, combining it with values of solidarity through the social integration of boys and girls with cognitive functional diversity.
This was stated by the president of the club, José Antonio Quero, during the presentation ceremony of the new entity, which took place at the Puente Genil Town Hall, and in which he was accompanied by both the mayor, Sergio Velasco (PP), as for the Former Malaga basketball player Berni Rodríguezfounder of Academia 675, an inclusive project that works with more than 200 young people in the capital of Malaga.
Quero explained that the 3 Puntos Academy is “a project for all the boys and girls of Puente Genil and the region, being a commitment to values aimed at encouraging young people with special needs to enjoy the sport of basket ball.”
The president of the club has praised the inspiring nature of Berni Rodríguez’s project in the capital of the Costa del Sol and has pointed out that it is an initiative that does not stop growing“and we believe that a project like this, with those characteristics, can also have a place in our region.”

The club, which also wants to have a broad presence on social networks, has opened a registration period for those families who are interested, with the idea of starting its activity in January 2024 after the Christmas holiday break.
