Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Reigning MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia doesn’t want to bother thinking about the challenges he faces in the 2024 season after Marc Marquez moved from Honda to Gresini Racing.
Bagnaia said he is now focused on enjoying a holiday with his girlfriend in Mexico before the 2024 MotoGP season starts.
“For now I don’t want to think about it,” said Bagnaia as quoted by GPOne.

MotoGP 2024 will start on March 10 at the Lusail International Circuit, Qatar.
Bagnaia is currently still the favorite racer to compete for the 2024 MotoGP title with Jorge Martin and the racer who recently moved to Ducati, namely Marc Marquez.
Pecco is still the favorite because it cannot be separated from his success in winning MotoGP for two consecutive seasons, namely 2022 and 2023.
Pecco’s back to back championship achievements made him successful in equaling the record of Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez who won two seasons in a row.
“I still have a few World Championships left to reach their level [Rossi dan Marquez]but winning two championships in a row is fantastic,” said Bagnaia.
“That takes you to a higher level and I can’t stop here,” Bagnaia added.
