Club Brugge was no longer defeated by Bodø/Glimt in its last group match in the Conference League. Blauw-zwart won easily 3-1 and thus secured the group win and the corresponding direct ticket for the 1/8th finals.

Man of the match: Not the man with the goals today, but the one with the ideas. Hans Vanaken turned the Jan Breydel Stadium into his playground tonight and led his team to victory. The key figure of the home team also had two grateful flanks in front of him with Nusa and Skov Olsen.
Key moment: Action, reaction. Club Brugge were in charge against Bodø/Glimt, but were suddenly awarded a penalty on the hour mark. Yet there was no panic among the home team. On the contrary. Barely a minute later, Thiago corrected the situation.

But Club did not take on the role of victim. On the contrary. It went straight to the other side with a clever combination, where De Cuyper, who had pushed through, gave his striker Thiago the 2-1 lead – less than a minute after the equalizer.
In the end, Club had to survive a final offensive from the visitors, but a late header goal by Mechele dashed all Norwegian hopes. Club Brugge thus secured a group win and continues the good trend of the last few weeks.
