Jealousy or simple mockery? In any case, the five-time Golden Ball winner prefers to laugh about it. The IFFHS (International Federation, of Football History & Statistics) organization has unveiled its top 10 best players of the year 2023, this list includes Messi, Mbappé, Haaland, Bellingham, but not Cristiano Ronaldo.
Under an Instagram publication from the Portuguese media Abola, CR7 died of laughter and made it known by commenting mocking emojis. Yet author of a good season with Al Nassr, it seems that the Saudi League is not a selection criterion for the IFFHS. In the end it was Erling Haaland who won this title, but don’t panic for the Portuguese, since he will soon have the opportunity to receive the award for top scorer of the year, from the same IFFHS.
