Today we celebrate the saints John of the Cross and Agnello of Naples. Saint John of the Cross was a Spanish priest and saint, co-founder of the Order of Discalced Carmelites. He is the protector of mystics, theologians and poets. Saint Agnello of Naples was a Basilian monk, later an Augustinian.

Also, today is World Monkey Day.

Let’s remember some events from the past that happened on December 14th:
