Five Italians competing for the World Archery Awards

The race begins towards the title of best archer in the world and in the various categories there are five Italians: Mauro Nespoli in the Olympic arch, Elisa Roner in the compoud, Daniele Piran and Asia Pellizzari in Para-Archery and Sergio Pagni as coach.
The nominations were revealed today by World Archery which also announced that you will be able to vote for your favorite archers on the official website of the event. Voting will begin on November 10th and end on December 10th; the winners will be announced at the beginning of 2024. Challenging the Azzurri there will obviously be some of the best names in world archery starting with the four reigning world champions: Mete Gazoz, Marie Horackova, Pravin Deotale and Aditi Swami. Instead, a jury of journalists will elect the overall athlete of the year, last year Ella Gibson won.
