Jan-Lennard Struff: The ATP Comeback Player of the Year

Much merit to Jan-Lennard Struff in this season that is already ending. The German, after having a hard time with injuries, did his best to bring back his best tennis, jumping from position #167 in the ranking to #21 in the ATP ranking. At 33 years old, the Warstein giant had a record of 45-24, leaving great weeks in the memory such as his final at the Mutua Madrid Open or his final at the ATP 250 in Stuttgart, in addition to a quarterfinal in Monte Carlo. He only lacked a small title that would adorn his calendar and give him that last push to the top20. Even so, the ATP has been clear in granting the award to the better comeback of the year.
