Jean-Michel Aulas has made a radical new decision, that of leaving the board of directors of OL Groupe to no longer have any responsibility in his favorite club. All this to better buy the LDLC Arena room which OL wants to get rid of.
Now at peace with John Textor after some very hot months following the takeover, Jean-Michel Aulas has no shortage of new projects. If he leaves himself at the disposal of Olympique Lyonnais now that tensions have eased, he also knows that the Rhone club has planned an organizational chart without him, and that his role should above all be honorary. In the meantime, JMA is mainly focused on his missions at the French Football Federation, where he will be elected vice-president in a few days, and is focusing on the development of women’s football in particular. But the former OL manager now has a huge investment in mind, namely the purchase of a room that he had built when he was still in charge of OL Groupe. This is the famous LDLC Arena, which has just seen the light of day, and where ASVEL plays in the EuroLeague. John Textor wants to sell it, because the American owner intends to concentrate solely on football, and this is of great interest to Tony Parker, the manager of the basketball club in the Lyon region.

But despite his proximity to the NBA All-Star, Jean-Michel Aulas will face him in this sale.
