Von Miller: abuse allegations are false
Buffalo Bills LB Von Miller has been involved in another personal controversy. Recently, he also spoke out on the subject of an arrest warrant in Texas last month.
Miller was wanted for felony assault on a pregnant person following an incident with his pregnant girlfriend, but eventually he recanted about it. This week she said that “everything that came out was wrong” in reference to the facts. He assured that he and her girlfriend have problems like all couples, but he never behaved violently with her.
“Whenever you see those things in articles and stuff, it’s shocking, of course, especially when my name is attached to it,” Miller said. “It is 100% false, it is exaggerated. … I know who I am, I know my character, I know the type of person I am, I know my relationship and my girlfriend’s relationship.”
He added that he hopes “everything will be clarified” over time. The reality is that Miller has a history of these types of allegations, including investigated by Colorado police for a case related to his ex-girlfriend in 2021.

Josh Allen: Let’s put the best we have against the Patriots
The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 7 of the NFL this year, so their next game has the flavor of revenge for the latter. As if that were not enough, they need to win to stay alive in the fight for a playoff spot (and even win the AFC East).
Now Buffalo comes from winning three games in a row, so they are in a position to give a much more solid game against this same team. QB Josh Allen anticipates that they will go all out at home this Sunday.
“The fact that we lost game one tells you that we have to put our best resources on the field or we’re not going to win this game,” Allen said, via Katherine Fitzgerald del Buffalo News. “And, frankly, it’s a game we have to win. And they know it. We know. If I were in the New England Patriots locker room, I would want to ruin their season. You know, an opponent’s playoff hopes are at stake, a division rival.”
“So, they’re going to be ready to go. I can guarantee it to you. That in turn means that we also have to be prepared.”

Allen knows how difficult it is to face the Pats. In 10 games against this rival he is 5-5, completing just 59.5% of his passes, 2,253 yards, 18 TDs and eight interceptions.
What is your prediction for this match? Will the Bills get closer to the division title?
Jaylen Waddle would miss game against Ravens, according to report
HC Mike McDaniel assured that WR Jaylen Waddle’s ankle injury was not severebut it is very likely that it will at least prevent him from playing this Sunday in the big duel between the Dolphins and Ravens.
Waddle is not expected to participate in NFL Week 17, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Without him, the split should favor WR Tyreek Hill, who is suddenly even more important than usual. But it should also favor the numbers of WR Cedrick Wilson, WR Braxton Berrios, WR River Cracraft and WR Chase Claypool.
The next match can define the team that will remain with the best seed in the AFC. In the particular case of Baltimore, it could secure the AFC North and for Miami, the AFC East title.

How important can this loss be for the next game?
The NFL achieved record audience numbers last Christmas
The NFL remains the most watched sport in the United States by a huge margin. Each year, its own ratings are surpassed only by its new seasons.
In an official statement, the league stated that it attracted an average of 28.7 million viewers for its Christmas tripleheader. That was an increase of 29% from the numbers it recorded on the same date in 2022.
The official numbers were:
Raiders vs Chiefs: 29.6 million viewers. Giants vs Eagles: 29.0 million viewers. Ravens vs 49ers: 27.6 million viewers.
In related information, the NFL assured that there will be no Christmas games if it falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so we will not have games from 2024-2025. Even so, everything can change in the coming months, especially looking at these figures.
