Lazio-Inter report cards: Lautaro piranha (7), Thuram has everything (7), Calha bland (5.5)

Lazio-Inter report cards

A steamroller. Inter confirms itself as the most complete team in Serie A, also beating Lazio with two goals, one in each half, from its two strikers, Lautaro and Thuram and extending its lead to more than four against Juventus, the only one that seems to keep up with it .

Sommer: 6,5

He does everything with his feet, even the save on Rovella. And he does it with Swiss precision: unbeaten for 426 minutes.

Bisseck: 6

He makes up for a bad conceptual mistake with personality and physicality. Good sign.

Unripe: 6.5

First as a former player at the Olimpico, he charges with whistles. Even if Rovella surprises him.

Sticks: 6.5

It offers less than usual, but puts a lot of substance into it.

Darmian: 6

Thuram’s launch was notable at the start, when he loses a ball he also solves the problem. Safety.

Stretcher: 6.5

He launches first Lautaro and then Thuram into the same action, the second assist goes better: decisive break.

Calhanoglu: 5,5

He is not in his most brilliant moment, not only because of the ball that he lets Rovella steal. Bland.

Mkhitaryan: 6

He improves in the second half and has the opportunity to make it 3-0, but he shoots at Provedel.

Dimarco: 6

Worried by Felipe, when he throws himself beyond the halfway line it is never banal.

Thuram: 7

He comes out of the blocks, then reappears with an initial control (and a left-footed goal) which once again makes the difference. Technique, power, hunger, joy: he has it all.

Lautaro Martinez: 7

Give me half the ball and I’ll organize an escape for you: the goal, from the left, is laborious but he is lucid and ruthless. There is a piranha three goals away from Nyers’ record (1952).

Inzaghi

The victory here at Inter has been missing since 2018 and comes with the utmost cynicism and great capacity to suffer. The particular signs of those aiming straight for the scudetto. Not just in winter.

Lazio: Guendouzi does well

6 Provedel In counter time against Lautaro launched, he loses the moment to try to take the ball away from him. Great save at the end on Miki.
5 Lazzari Not brilliant, until the expulsion for a swear word to the referee at the end. 5 Casale He starts with a zip lock on Thuram, he is no longer able to repeat it.
5 Gila Su Lautaro tries to return desperately. On Thuram on impappina. Not even lucky.
4 Marusic Either he doesn’t see Lautaro or a gesture from Gila misleads him, because the back pass is outside of time and space. Lunar.
6 Guendouzi Increasingly at the heart of the team, he has intelligent management with and without the ball. The deep throw for Immobile is one of the best things.
6 Rovella More of a director of short episodes than of full films, he earns the opportunity of the evening but the shot is revisable.
5 Kamada Surprise move, but it doesn’t pay off: light and imprecise.
5.5 F. Anderson The Nerazzurri bogeyman doesn’t look mean: just a happy intuition for Guendozi.
5 Immobile He hasn’t scored from open play in the league since matchday one and is feeling the weight of it, missing two opportunities. Ballasted.
5.5 Zaccagni Illudes with a great ball for Immobile. Then it’s bland.
5 Luis Alberto Out reluctantly, in unwillingly.
5.5 Sarri The streak of 6 games without conceding a goal at home is also broken. Lazio started well in both the first and second half, then remained a prisoner of their own limitations.
