Steven Moya has an extensive career in professional baseball in different countries. born in Puerto Rico e son of Dominican parents, is in the Dominican Republic andn where he has spent most of his career playing for the Toros del Este in that country’s winter baseball. He also has experience in the Major Leagues, since in 2009 he was signed by the Detroit Tigers from Major League Baseball (MLB).

With them he made his debut in the Major Leagues in 2014 in a game against Cleveland coming in as a pinch hitter for Torii Hunter and in his first at bat he had a hit. His good level has also led him to compete at the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) where he spent four seasons playing for the Chunichi Dragons and the Orix Buffaloes. In Mexico it will not be his first time, since he was previously part of the Tijuana Bulls in the summer league.
