Moulin-à-Vent Sports Park Transforms into Christmas Village for the Holidays

Until the beginning of January 2024, the Moulin-à-Vent sports park is in Christmas colors. In the chalets set up at the entrance, who better than the volunteers of the sports associations to welcome athletes, the curious and those with a sweet tooth to the heart of a Christmas village?

For the second year in a row, the magic of Christmas is transported to the Perpignan sports park, in the Moulin-à-Vent district. Christmas tree, wooden taverns, lights, it’s all there! Even snacks that warm and fill you up.

The aptly named Sports Christmas Village was therefore inaugurated this Wednesday evening, December 13, children’s day and the practice of sport for many of them. Moreover, the seeds of champions did not miss the meeting. Judo, swimming, rugby, American football, are all disciplines which have been worthily represented by their practitioners. Especially since the coming year will be busy for the associative sports world in Catalonia. On May 15, 2024, the year of the Olympic Games in France, the Olympic flame will pass through this flagship venue for the practice of sport in Perpignan. The champions gala is back in June to reward clubs for their season. And finally, at the end of this same month, the sports festival will be in full swing.

Until then, certain clubs will bring the festive village of the sports park to life by supporting passing athletes. Like Perpignan Roussillon Table tennis. Until January 7, 2024, three times, President Guillaume Lebecq’s teams will sell drinks, pancakes and paninis: “It’s important to gain visibility and keep our discipline alive.” And find a place among the hundred associations that keep Perpignan sport alive.
