NBA Christmas Wishes: What Do Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Embiid and Doncic Want?

Christmas arrived and we imagined what Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Embiid and Doncic would ask Santa Claus.

Christmas has arrived and the NBA stars surely left their letter to Santa Claus with some requests for gifts.

We imagine what Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Embiid and Doncic would ask Santa Claus.

Among Giannis Antetokounmpo’s requests for this Christmas is that the Milwaukee Bucks maintain their good pace in the regular season to remain in the Top 3 of the Eastern Conference and make a long run in the playoffs; If they can take over the seeding there, one would be improving to secure home field and seek a second championship with the Bucks.

Perhaps the Greek also wants a little more help from the office so that his team has greater depth for the strong part of the season. That can be accomplished before the trade deadline, although with the arrival of Damian Lillard it seems that the team will not have any more notable moves.

And as a last point, in Giannis’ letter to Santa is being able to win a new MVP trophy of the league and why not of the Finals. For now, he has a good rhythm and the fight with Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid is about to have his best moments.

The ‘Chef’ must be eager for Santa to bring him the good news that the league lifted Draymond Green’s punishment and, above all, that the veteran forward learned his lesson (something that seems unlikely) so that he can reincorporate the franchise that is going through a slump in the regular season.

In addition, the point guard must have a better performance from the Golden State Warriors included in his card to put the four-game losing streak behind him and fight to get into the play-in zone.

Finally, and it doesn’t seem like he has to ask for it, the ‘Chef’ has among his Christmas wishes to continue with that precise aim from the goal to leave the historical figure of most hits from three in the NBA as high as possible.

What LeBron asks for is health and for his teammates in the Los Angeles Lakers to know how to win when he or Anthony Davis are not there.

In the Lakers, something similar happens to the Warriors, if Curry or Klay Thompson are absent, and in the case of the Lakers, AD or the ‘King’, there are a couple of teams that would not even win in the G League, which is why James asks Santa be healthy to have the greatest number of minutes and games on the court.

Not fall into a negative streak that leaves them out of play-in places (Lakers seems to be unable to aspire for more) and once that seeding is tied, see how far the Los Angeles team can go.

Finally, James will want time to stop so he can continue playing in the NBA while waiting to fulfill his wish of playing alongside his son Bronny.

Joel Embiid

The reigning MVP of the league will have a second and consecutive Most Valuable Player award among his Christmas priorities. For now he is doing quite well, providing historic nights like the one in which he scored 51 points. Embiid has a separate fight with the aforementioned Doncic, Antetokounmpo and Jokic for the award.

May the injuries leave him alone. At least for now, the Cameroonian center has remained healthy and that has been key for his Philadelphia 76ers to remain in the Top 3 in the East; However, the season is still long, hence game after game the Sixers fans, the team itself, ask for his good physical condition.

A long run in the playoffs is another of Embiid’s requests for this Christmas. It seems difficult for the team to reach the Finals, but in one of those they manage to at least get to the Conference Final and take another step in ‘The Process’ that is talked about so much in Philadelphia and that has given so few results.

Luka Doncic

Doncic needs two things: An MVP trophy and a championship with the Dallas Mavericks; Without a doubt the first seems more accessible.

As is customary, the Mavs point guard provides games to remember and his numbers are those of the future Hall of Fame; However, for some reason, he has yet to win the individual award. As for a title, it doesn’t seem like the Mavs are going to be serious contenders in the West despite the fact that they are in the play-in zone for now.

Perhaps what Luka is secretly asking for is a change of team or strengthening the current one, since for a couple of seasons Dallas has fallen short in its roster compared to other franchises in the West and the league in general. It seems difficult for them to go far with Kyrie Irving and the depth of the roster seems short, at least on paper.
