The young rapper is one of the most recognizable artists in Poland, known primarily among young listeners. In addition to music, the 23-year-old loves football, as evidenced by his recent initiatives.

At the end of September, the rapper visited Robert Lewandowski in Barcelona. The gentlemen had the opportunity to have a short chat, after which the captain of the Polish national team signed Matczak’s T-shirt. However, this is not the only football story with the artist’s participation. Even earlier, the 23-year-old appeared in one of the episodes of the “Turbokozak” program, in which you can most often see top league footballers. On December 17, Michał “Mata” Matczak, together with another rapper Quebonafide, organized a charity match that could be watched for free on the Internet.
As you can see, football is an important element of the artist’s life, and in a few days it will also become one of his businesses. LKS Tajfun Ostrów Lubelski announced via social media that Michał Matczak has become the president of the club. “History here, history now. On December 20, 2023, the General Meeting of the LKS Tajfun Ostrów Lubelski club was held, during which a new statute was adopted, plans for the future were discussed and a new management board was elected. Mr. Michał Matczak became the new President of the club.” – we read on the team’s Facebook profile.
Interestingly, last season “Mata” was a player of LKS Tajfuna, and now he has become the president of the club. The announcement added that the rapper will be assisted by two vice-presidents, who will probably deal with organizational and financial issues. The artist is the face of the project, and information about the new position has spread widely on the Internet. Many clubs playing in B-class competitions could dream of this type of promotion.
The LKS Tajfun Ostrów Lubelski team was founded in 1990. It happened that the team advanced to the district class, but for two years Tajfun has been playing at the B-class level. In the autumn round, Michał Matczak’s club won as many as eight matches, thanks to which it is currently in third place in the table. Only the KS Ciecierzyn and Huragan Siostrzytów teams are better.
