Round of 16 on TV, live stream and live ticker

The first round of 16 games are taking place today as part of the DFB Cup. SPOX reveals how you can follow the games live on TV and live stream.

The focus in German football switches to the DFB Cup this Tuesday, December 5th, when the first half of the round of 16 takes place. There are four games coming up, only one of which is a pure Bundesliga duel: Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. VfL Wolfsburg, which kicks off at 8:45 p.m.

The cup evening begins at 6 p.m. with two matches between two second division teams. 1. FC Kaiserslautern welcomes 1. FC Nürnberg and 1. FC Magdeburg meets Fortuna Düsseldorf. Then, at 8:45 p.m., the last regional league team remaining in the tournament, FC Homburg, will play against FC St. Pauli.

DFB Cup live on free TV today, broadcast: Round of 16 on TV and live stream

Two of the four games can be seen on free TV today. The broadcast of Kaiserslautern vs. Nuremberg starts first on ARD, from 6 p.m. the following personnel can be seen and heard:

You can then follow Gladbach against Wolfsburg on the public broadcaster, with Tom Bartels as the commentator. ARD is providing a free live stream for both games at sportschau.de. This is available free of charge.

But if you also want to follow the other duels, you have to stop by Sky. The pay-TV broadcaster owns the rights to all cup games and is therefore broadcasting all four games today. The channels Sky Sport 2 (HD) and Sky Sport 3 (HD) are used for the individual games. The conference, on the other hand, is offered on Sky Sport 1 (HD), Sky Sport Mix and Sky Sport Top Event. You can access Sky’s live stream with a SkyGo subscription or with WOW.
