SELANGOR will once again host the Badminton Asia Team Championship (BATC) 2024 which will take place from 13 to 18 February next.
The matter was confirmed by the Secretary General of Badminton Asia (BA), Datuk Kenny Goh Chee Keong, who said that the biennial tournament will be held at the same location as the 2022 edition, which is at the Setia City Convention Center, Setia Alam, Selangor.
He however refused to comment on why the tournament was not held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which should have the right to host for a period of five years until 2027.
“It is true that we will organize in Selangor. We have already obtained approval from the Selangor government.
