Success at the Provincial Indoor Archery Championship at El Batel Municipal Sports Center

The El Batel municipal sports center on Isla Cristina hosted the Provincial Indoor Archery Championship

This indicates the good health that archery enjoys in our province.

Besides, Recently the Asirio Club has signed a collaboration agreement with the Atlantic Cooper Foundation, the Andalusian Beturia Foundation for Health Research (FABIS) and the Santa Águeda Association, to carry out a project that studies the benefit of practicing archery in women with breast cancer, all under the supervision of the Comprehensive Oncology Unit of the Juan Ramón Jiménez Hospital. This program began last October, among other things it aims to improve the quality of life of cancer patients, in addition to stimulating them with the practice of a rewarding sport. An important step has already been taken in this provincein which four women have participated in it, in the category “Arch & Health”a good start to encourage your colleagues to practice this discipline.
