Captains Dava Torres and César Carballeira have given an early Christmas gift to the Liceo fans. The club made official this morning at an event held at the Estrella Galicia brewery the renewal of the two players from A Coruña, who They extend their contract until the 2026/27 season. To announce the extension of the contract, the Liceo recorded a very special video in which collaborated by David Perdomo and Jose Antonio Touriñan to highlight pride A Coruña that champions this season’s promotional campaign.

César Carballeira stressed his satisfaction at being able to stay at home. “It’s the club I grew up in and, today, it is the most important thing I have apart from my family.” The pride in the colors that will be worn, at least, until 2027, he wants to translate into determination on the court to “continue growing together and take the Liceo to the highest” despite the situations and roster renewals that occur each season.
The signatures of the two leaders of the locker room arrive at a key moment of the course, a few days before the winter market opens and two weeks before playing the momentous match against Noia next January 7th when it will be in play the ticket to the Copa del Rey.
It will be the perfect opportunity for Dava to celebrate the new contract with his return to the track. For his part, César Carballeira will wear his nickname of Neno do Cole with pride. After passing through the classrooms and courts of the school, he returned to the Liceo in 2020 after playing two seasons at Reus.
