The Spanish Football Federation announced yesterday that in the coming weeks they will visit “the training fields and hotel infrastructures of the cities and provinces that are opting to be sub-hosts during the 2030 World Cup,” according to a statement. From Las Rozas they warn that “different technical criteria will have to be assessed regarding the state of the training fields, facilities for media and equipment, hotel and accommodation infrastructure for the expeditions and a long list of issues.”
The organizing committee points out that “these technical visits will take place in a limited window of time so that all the training places visited can be seen in similar conditions and thus allow an assessment that is as objective, impartial and fair as possible.”
