It’s been a few days now since the subject of the work ethic of NBA players came back to the table. In this context, the comments of a star concerning his passion for Lego have caused a lot of noise in recent hours.
If not having won over all observers, the In-Season Tournament will at least have made it possible to put this discussion back at the heart of the news. The work ethic of NBA players is indeed a new debate in the industry. It must be said that the extreme case of Zion Williamson has caused a lot of ink to flow following with striking images of his physique against the Lakers. But not only.
A Pacer’s confession about his unconditional love for Lego
Winners of Williamson’s Pelicans in the semi-finals of the In-Season Tournament, the Lakers found the Pacers this Saturday in the final of the tournament. An important meeting for both teams, but especially for many Indiana players with a still virgin collective record. Myles Turner included, he who was honest at a press conference about his activities during his free time:
Very important thing, already: I build Lego, I don’t play Lego. But yeah, all the time. It’s literally all I do in my free time. It allows me to rest my mind. I put music and a series on in the background, and I spend at least 3 or 4 hours a day there. I have already built 12 different projects since the start of the season. Putting it all together, that’s more than 120,000 Legos.

No, not all NBA players dedicate their entire days to basketball and their progress. Myles Turner doesn’t hide it, nor his passion for Lego. The kind of hobby that still struggles to gain unanimous support.
