“Close your eyes, the eternal final”, the Torneos Ficción production that relives the conquest of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup in Madrid will be presented today in a special event that will bring together millionaire fans at the Movistar Arena.
“Close your eyes” will be presented at an event designed for River fans to experience an unparalleled day, remembering one of the most glorious moments in the club’s history. The participation of former players, celebrities, live music and historical elements from the River museum, among other surprises, will transform the Movistar Arena into a unique place for Millionaire fans.
The documentary traces the path to the Cup with the voices and testimonies of the team members and with the most vibrant moments of the match played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
“Close your Eyes, the eternal final” is a production of Torneos Ficción, directed and scripted by Gabriel Starna – Ignacio Ragone – Silvina Dell’Occhio. It was carried out between March and November 2023 in various locations such as the Monumental Stadium, River Camp, hotels, clubs, as well as interviews in Europe with players who currently reside there. Participating: Marcelo Gallardo, Enzo Pérez, Enzo Francescoli, Lucas Pratto, Ignacio Scocco, Rodrigo Mora, Javier Pinola, Rafael Santos Borré, Ignacio Fernández, Bruno Zuculini, Exequiel Palacios, Juan Fernando Quintero, Milton Casco, Gonzalo Montiel, Gonzalo Martínez, Leonardo Ponzio, Franco Armani, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Jonatan Maidana, Jorge Brito, Rodolfo D’Onofrio, Germán Lux, Norberto Alonso, among others.
