The African Cup of Nations continues to deliver its verdict for the lucky winners of the group stage. And with this evening’s results, we now know the first posters for the round of 16. Qualified at the last minute after a crazy match against Gambia, Cameroon will face Nigeria on January 27.

There will also be a Guinea clash the next day. Finally, the third known round of 16 will pit the surprising Cape Verde team against Mauritania. The latter offered themselves the precious sesame after their resounding victory against Algeria. Note that there are still six places to be allocated.

- Equatorial Guinea – Guinea: January 28 at 6 p.m.
- Cape Verde – Mauritania: January 29 at 6 p.m.
