Almost 150 shooters will meet this weekend in Alovera for the Castilla-La Mancha Indoor Archery Championship, which will take place in the sports hall of the “Carmen Burgos de Seguí” institute. On Saturday the 13th, the precision championship and the 6th round of the regional league (recurve and compound bows) will be held, in which nearly 40 athletes will participate. On Sunday the traditional bow, Longbow and naked bow championship will take place, in addition to the 6th shooting of the regional league, in which the presence of about one hundred shooters is expected. On both occasions the competition is open to the public, starting at 9:00 in the morning.
The organization of this Castilla-La Mancha Archery Championship is organized by the Itarco de Alovera Club, in addition to the Regional Federation itself. This weekend’s event in the Aloveran town will have the presence of clubs from the five provinces of the community, including the three federated Alcarreño clubs, in addition to Itarco, CD Guadalajara Arco Club and Arqueros de Yebes.
With the Alovera test, the indoor shooting season will end and, starting next February, outdoor competitions will begin.
