He passed through Figueirense, Fortaleza, Criciúma, Juventude, Sport Recife, Avaí, San Caetano, Cruzeiro, Coritiba, Vasco da Gama (twice), Santos (twice), Atlético Mineiro, Inter, Flamengo (three times), Fluminense, Palmeiras , San Pablo (twice), Athletico Pranaense and Ceará.

He won eight state championships and no Brasileirão, was promoted with Vasco as champion in 2009 and won the Brazilian Cup three times with three different clubs: Santos in 2010, Flamengo in 2022 and San Pablo in 2023.
