The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) constantly works on sports projects that have a social impact, especially on vulnerable groups with disabilities.
For this reason, the Maximum House of Studies, together with the Sports Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Puebla, invites athletes from this social group to be part of the judo team.
The BUAP will make coaches and facilities available to this social sector to be able to form this representative, remembering that blind and visually impaired people give good sporting results.
It will be next Monday, January 15, when the activities to form this judo team for the blind and visually impaired will begin, training that will take place in the judo hall of the COMDE of the BUAP.
Training days will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with rest on Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours of these practices will be from 12:00 to 14:00 on the designated days.
Great goal
The great purpose is to encourage children, young people and adults to practice this sport, which presents one of the best competitions among people who are blind or have some visual weakness.
After this judo team for the blind and visually impaired is formed, the objectives will begin to be set for national and international competitions.
