The Bills will host the Steelers on Monday at 4:30 pm instead of Sunday afternoon due to an approaching snow storm in Buffalo.
BUFFALO, NY — The Buffalo Bills’ wild-card round game against the Pittsburgh Steelerswhich was due to be played this Sunday at 1 pm ET, has been rescheduled for Monday at 4:30 pm ET due to a snow storm incoming to prioritize security in the region.

The measure was announced at a press conference held this Saturdayor in the afternoon New York State Governor Kathy Hochul. The decision came after conversations with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, emergency response teams, Bills management and the NFL.
A winter storm warning is in effect for the Buffalo area and surrounding counties, including Erie County, where the stadium in Orchard Park, New York is located. According to AccuWeather, more than a foot of snow (and up to three feet) is expected in the Buffalo area, and with winds potentially up to 65 mph. A travel ban will also apply from 9:00 p.m. this Saturday.
The Bills also had a game in November of last season against the Cleveland Browns scheduled to be played at Highmark Stadium, moved due to extreme snow and wind so resources could be focused on people in the Buffalo area. The game was played at Ford Field in Detroit.
In the latest case of a playoff game postponed due to weather, the NFL moved the timing of the Steelers’ 2016 divisional round game against the Kansas City Chiefs from 1:05 p.m. ET to 8:20 p.m. ET.
