The Detroit Tigers announced the contract extension of the organization’s infielder and prospect, Colt Keith, for a total of six years with the aim of supporting the future of the club.

The cats detailed that the agreement for six seasons exceeds 28 million dollars. It also includes a $2 million bonus with club options and ladders from 2030 to 2032.

The infielder is ranked as the number 22 prospect in the Major Leagues and is established as the second best prospect within the stripes.
Throughout 2023 he hit .325 with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs in Double-A; After that he was promoted to Triple-A where he hit .287 with 13 home runs and 51 RBIs.
